The faces of Mesão Provesende are Jet Spanjersberg and Ronald Weustink. Real Rotterdammers who got to know each other in the hospitality industry. Jet was head of housekeeping at Hotel New York and Ronald was second man at the Van Otterloo wine store. In 2001 both jobs were quit for a new adventure in Portugal. Together with their son Koen, then one year old, they left for Quinta do Passadouro to run the guesthouse of this wine farm in the Pinhão Valley. Until the birth of daughter Floor, they also lived on the quinta, after which they bought the beautiful house in Provesende, which has now been completely converted into a tourist residence. With all their knowledge and experience, Jet and Ronald dedicate themselves every day to treat their guests to an unforgettable stay in this beautiful and varied part of Portugal!
